Learning software development is difficult, I should know, I still haven't done it! Where is the best place for you to start? What are the best resources for someone new?

I started here. Its a really good esource. Its tough at first but after a few years it gets easier!

Youtube

Of course, YouTube is the go to place to learn anything so no surprice its listed here. There are lots of good programming Youtubers, I would recommend watching hour and hours of tutorials.
